Outcomes & Transparency
What Your Money Does
Donors deserve to know where their money goes, what it accomplishes, and what kind of organization is asking for it. This page is where we say so plainly.
How Donations are Spent
100% of donated funds go to scholarships.
Jaywalker Lodge underwrites the administrative costs of the Foundation, including staff time, payment processing, and the legal and accounting work of operating a nonprofit. This is a deliberate choice. It means a donor’s dollar does not pay for the people raising it; it pays for the men receiving it.

How We Measure Outcomes
Recovery is not a clean line and the Foundation does not pretend it is. We track three things: completion of the funded phase of treatment, engagement with the next phase, and self-reported sobriety status at six months and one year. Recipients participate in outcomes tracking voluntarily. We publish aggregate numbers, never individual ones.
| Status | Clients | % of Clients |
|---|---|---|
| Completed | 128 | 67% |
| Unplanned Discharge | 63 | 33% |
| TOTAL | 191 | 100% |

Governance
The Foundation is overseen by a scholarship committee and an advisory board composed of Jaywalker alumni, family members of alumni, clinical staff, and community supporters. The committee meets regularly to review applications and award decisions. No member of the committee benefits personally from any scholarship granted.
Conflicts of Interest
Members of the scholarship committee disclose any personal relationship with an applicant and recuse themselves from that decision. Scholarship decisions are documented in writing and retained for review.
Privacy
The Foundation never sells, trades, or shares donor or recipient information. Donor lists are not exchanged with other organizations. Online giving is processed through a PCI-compliant payment processor over SSL. See our [Privacy Policy] for full details.
